故事缘起于一个惊悚的传说，半夜十二点，在镜子前点两只蜡烛，对着镜子削苹果，皮不要断，就可以在镜子中见到——鬼。
民国初年，军阀混战时期。五位俊男靓女来到阴森恐怖的巫镇，探寻传说中的“镜中鬼”，却一个个被神秘力量吸到镜子里，或惨死在镜子前，镜面上渗出汩汩鲜血……仅剩的一位美女按照传说中的方式，来到最诡异的古镜前，点起蜡烛，开始削苹果，镜子里的自己，冷冷地看着镜子外的她。一只惨白的手，从镜子里伸了出来……。位于深山小镇的理发店发生的一系列灵异奇闻，殷果儿、任青安、姜星丘等人陷入危难绝境中无法脱身，和理发店有关联的人物接连被惨绝杀害，血腥残暴引来人心惶惶，而抽丝剥茧之后的真相更加令人心惊胆战。。This season began merely two whole weeks after the first season had ended, on April 19, 2008, with the airing of "The Elite Guard", and ended on July 5, 2008, with the two-parter, "A Bridge Too Close".
