Lera is a sociology student at a small-town university. Her mother is a sleepwalker who believes in miracles, and her father just left the family for another woman. That is, until the spirit steps in...。抗战前夕的1933年，国立博物馆馆长石兆光（赵有亮 饰）为护镇馆之宝不幸落入日酋魔窟，在狱中他受尽非人折磨，求死不能求生不得，精神受到极大创伤。就在万念俱焚之际，他得到一本拯救其灵魂的围棋奇书，从此后他将世间万物抛于脑后，痴心钻研这变化莫测的黑白世界。抗战全面爆发前夜，已经出狱的石兆光携子石头（邹辰良 饰）乘船去上海，途中遇到东瀛棋手竹内秀夫（沈晓海 饰），狂妄的竹内自称下遍中国无敌手，根本不把中国人放在眼里。在船上自娱自乐的中国游客经石兆光稍加点拔，棋艺有如神助，与其对弈的竹内步步后退，自知遇上高手。正在这时，传来卢沟桥事变的消息，船上的日本人内心充满了杀机......。
