在一个偏僻的山村，人们过着日出而作、日落而息的平凡生活。宁静的村庄内生活着一个普通却又与众不同的女孩，她叫樱桃（沈春阳 饰），智力障碍让她少缺了人间许多不必要的烦恼，但也为她平添了无数的艰辛与磨难。阴差阳错，单身汉葛望（宋小宝 饰）成了樱桃的男人，也稀里糊涂成为一名弃婴的爹。
