一支佣兵团队在圣诞夜突袭一栋富有人家的豪宅，并且挟持豪宅内的所有人为人质时，他们竟然遇到一个完全意想不到的强劲对手：圣诞老人（大卫·哈伯饰），而且他会让他们知道圣诞老人并不是一个面容慈祥、心地善良的圣人。。When his wife is killed in a restaurant shoot-out, intelligence man Harry Hannan (Roy Scheider) has a breakdown and finds that his department doesn't want him back.
