The fake feeling of belonging brings her on a lonely path in which bulimia and anorexia lurk as alternatives in her search f...。19岁的幼儿园老师小笠原涉木（药师丸博子 饰）爱慕上学生的父亲御前崎渡（财津和夫 饰），夏日时分，涉木受御前崎邀请前往大阪辅导其孩子的功课。即将出发之时，涉木在海边巧遇四处旅行修炼、立志成为伟大魔术师的青年大东道健（野村宏伸 饰）。他们的旅行各有得失，涉木遭到御前崎妻子的嫉妒，无奈离开大阪，回到故乡冲绳；大东岛则迷上爵士女歌手伊势（桃井薰 饰），而伊势却和御前崎相恋，始终拒绝大东岛的追求。
在这个炎热的夏天，四个人各自寻找着感情的归宿……。
