一九三六年，天津八大家之首孔家三少爷。天津广东会馆看戏，天津宪兵司令枪杀女旦赛西施。三少爷情急下随口说出要替赛西施报仇，三天内杀掉川口。在天津民众、各界人士帮助鼓励下，终将炸死日军天津宪兵司令的故事。。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
