以河南省首任监委书记刘名榜事迹为题材，讲述上世纪六十年代初。省监委刘书记同一天收到了两封信：一封是可爱的小孙女芽芽写来的，说他们家最近发生了两件事。一件好事是爸爸调到了县城，家也搬到了县城；还有一件是“大不好的事”，要她爷爷回来自己看。还有一封是举报他的老战友、老部下南山县县委书记黄凯思弄虚作假、虚报粮食产量，侵害群众利益的。刘书记怀着沉痛不安的心情，只带着一个秘书返回家乡，回到他革命战争年代一直坚持斗争的地方，经过短短三天时间的调查，搞清了事情真相，看到了乡亲们生活的清苦，及时纠正了严重的浮夸风问题。。Big Brother 3 is the third season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada.
