劇中敘述1979年的暑假，女主角孟娟（陳妤飾演）邀請大學同學書蘭（劉倩妏飾演）到家中的香蕉園幫忙採收。兩人偷偷發展出一段曖昧的情誼，還結伴到美麗島雜誌社為自由人權發聲，眼看彼此找到心之所向，卻渾然不覺踏入白色恐怖的風暴中。。一对感情有问题的夫妻，双方达成协议：妻子Melinda在外面任找多少情人都可以，只要她不抛弃家人。而随后，丈夫Vic开始抑制不住自己的嫉妒，想要赢回妻子，为此最终卷入了犯罪。。On his chest a mysterious tattoo – «XIII».
