故事讲述13岁的凯拉（艾尔西·费舍尔饰）在初中的最后一周，所经历的青春故事...。30年代上海，电影摄影师沈君初（黎明饰）深爱着自己的女友播音员徐曼丽（范冰冰饰），但因性格内向无法开口向女友求婚。在懊丧中曼丽播出了一个自己编写的广播剧。在广播剧中，摄影师君初因为错过了曼丽的结婚请求而懊悔不已，他买了戒指约曼丽见面的时候曼丽被车撞死。君初日后一直生活在对曼丽的思念中。之后出现了另一个女人妻子三三（刘若英饰），但君初并不理会三三。而三三虽深爱着君初，却也无法让他快乐。直到有一天，三三看到了徘徊不去的曼丽，她教给三三如何接近君初让君初快乐……
广播剧结束了，君初听到了曼丽的故事，写了一封信向曼丽求婚，曼丽接到信后飞奔去了约会的地方，就是广播剧故事当中他们约会的南京路口……。Rachel, a concerned researcher, and her team have set out to sea to prove that the disappearance of a family and crew from a merchant ship was for reasons having to do with the supernatural.
