Niyang seems detached and with a heavy longing from the past, and therefore, the film debris permeates everything with unescapable so...。1970年代末，文革结束后平反的老干部江子谷，携妻带女重返陕北看望老战友。见到老丁，四目相对，俩人共同回忆起当年在彭总身边的往事，内心感慨万千。当年的“小狗子”现如今已是军分区的苟司令员，他听说江子谷来到这里，连忙找来，和他一起去当年的蟠龙战役旧址，缅怀已故的先烈。苟司令的爱人羊秀英也是当年的苦娃子，当时穷的连裤子都没有。江子谷还在宾馆遇上了如今已蜕变的安文剑。在延安，江子谷巧遇当年的国军师长周兴宇，他正向彭总的塑像行礼，时世变迁啊......。
