This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。本作以现代日本为舞台，描述了一群穿梭于历史的阴影之中的神秘群体——封刃师。这世间的邪气，会寻找人们的怨恨、妒忌、愤怒，并与其一起相互交织而形成可怕的秽刃，杀人于无形，被害者只会化为常人无法看到的灰烬飘散而去。而封刃师正是拥有看见这世间的污秽并将其封印的人，只是这行侠仗义背后的牺牲远比想象的更加无情……。
