The project is inspired by Jane Mayer’s book “Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Rig...。举报别人易，举报自己难。影片讲述的是一个让上司拉下水的受贿者，在政策的高压及良知的召唤下，几经挣扎，进行自我举报，最终完成了自我救赎的过程。。Sam正职在货仓工作，闲时打地下拳赛赚钱，为人嚣张、野蛮、花心。一场意外，造成家庭破碎，留下一幼子。因此，Sam决定不再打地下拳赛，而得罪了地下拳赛大佬，从今与儿子相依为命，父子情深。
可惜好景不长，儿子身体有严重隐疾，需要到美国接受治疗。为了赚取医疗费用，Sam带著儿子同时打几份兼职，却忽视了儿子的学校生活。此时，儿子的班主任MissChan主动提出协助。MissChan在与Sam父子的接触过程中，渐渐对Sam产生了情愫。。
