小戏骨《白蛇传》是以《新白娘子传奇》为蓝本再度创作的《白蛇传》大电影。讲述小牧童从捕蛇人手中救下一条白蛇，白蛇为报救命之恩，经过一千七百年的修炼化为人形，变成美丽女子的白素贞，和青蛇变形的小青来到人间，与外表俊美的许仙，历经磨难，演绎了一场恩恩怨怨、生生死死，如泣如诉的爱情故事。。该剧改编自Gary L. Stewart撰写的同名畅销书，Stewart本人在寻找遗弃了自己的父亲时发现，他的父亲很可能就是逍遥法外、臭名昭著的连环杀手“十二宫杀手”。。Ed Hutcheson, tough editor of the New York 'Day', finds that the late owner's heirs are selling the crusading paper to a strictly commercial rival.
