When Anna Wyncomb is introduced to an an underground, all-female fight club in order to turn the mess of her life around, she discovers she is much more personally connected to the history of the club than she could ever imagine.。1940年6月的一个周末，德军即将侵入，英军被迫撤退，驻扎在附近邓科克海滩的法国士兵也想撤离，以便更有效地打击德军。但因为英军需要使用船只，所以法军被迫就地待命。随后的冲突中不少无辜百姓遭殃，一名妇女拒绝离开自己的家园，跟法军互相支持。与此同时，海滩上的战士似乎成了德军飞机的活靶子。。
