Showtime直接预订剧集《铁锈 Rust》，这部剧改编自Philipp Meyer的小说《American Rust》，并且电视台已找了Jeff Daniels担当主演﹑Dan Futterman负责改编剧本。
《铁锈》是部家庭剧，背景在宾夕法尼亚州西南部的锈带小镇（锈带指美国东北部的一个地区，来由是以前区盛产钢铁产业，但后来工厂关门，只余下生锈大门）里，主角是警长Del Harris（Jeff Daniels饰）。
剧中主角爱人的儿子被指控谋杀，Del被迫决定自己愿意做到甚么地步以保护他们。。衢州府年轻的王爷庄周被手下设计的冒牌王爷顶替陷害，在逃跑途中被刺杀他的女侠客孙梦蝶一行救下，互不相识的双方慢慢擦出爱情火花，一同折返王府中成功制服了作恶的手下，期间矛盾频出，笑料不断。。The seminal question of land and the displacement of Adivasi (Indigenous) Communities in India.
